In this assignment, I created a simple walk cycle with a provided rigged character of a ball with legs. This assignment demonstrated how to analyze the phases of a walk cycle and attribute the phases onto a character.
For the first part of this assignment, I modeled and textured a mage staff on the Maya software. Then I animated the buckid character interacting with the staff as if it were a magical and magnificent new found object.
This project had two different parts: In the first part I was to make a character gesture drawing and references on sketch paper. For the second part, I used the the reference sketches of my ghost character on Maya and modeled and rigged the 3D ghost u see below.
